Our program blends music, visual & handcrafted arts, tech and engineering that ignites imagination, innovation and creativity. Daily activities are sprinkled with lessons that teach children effective communication, good social skills, personal space, boundary setting, and basic life skills. Suzuki Violin

In this class we will cover parts of the instrument, string names, proper care, posture, enhanced with listening and memory games. Learn the proper bow hold and violin hold with the help of aids. We’ll learn simple “Twinkle” rhythms on open strings focusing on correct posture then moving to advanced rhythms. We emphasize good right and left hand techniques and proper posture. At the end of two weeks your child we be able to play a simple song. Class concludes with teacher recommendation for student readiness for Group Violin 1B. This class is non-competitive. You will need to rent a violin. A few additional violins will be brought for class use only. Ms. Joy believes learning music should be fun! Group class is a great opportunity to see if your child is interested in the learning the violin. ages 6-12

Mixed Media Art

Rev up your creative juices where we will experiment with charcoal, colored pencils, oil pastels, watercolors, acrylics, and more while creating your own works of art. Students work on individual and collaborative projects while learning about art history and the techniques of the masters. rom clay and collage to paints and printmaking, students work on individual projects as well as group projects that will cover Artist masters, style and history. ages 6-12

Junior Builder

Dive into architecture and structural engineering as students construct awesome creations such as towers, bridges, and castles with LEGO® bricks that are built to last. Work through problem solving, working in teams to create solutions while learning and having fun! ages 6-8

Coding – HTML, CSS

This course is designed to provide students with an introduction to HTML and CSS used in designing and creating web pages. Students will have a complete and wide array of customization freedom in the creation of their own web pages! No prior coding experience necessary. Bring your own laptop computer. ages 8-12

Math Tutoring

During the summer, your child’s math skills are in danger of slipping. In School Arts math tutors can help your child retain, catch up or get a head start on the math they’ll be learning in the coming year. Now tutoring 3rd -6th grade.

Junior Engineer

Junior Chef

Over the course of five days, your little chef will discover the delicious and satisfying world of baking, all while having fun in the kitchen. As they flip crêpes, knead dough, bake and decorate a cake and more, they’ll learn essential baking techniques, basic food prep skills and best practices for kitchen safety.
ages 7-12

Little Athlete

In Little Athlete, children will have the chance to work on new skills through sports and games like soccer, tumbling, and obstacle courses. The focus is on sportsmanship, teamwork, building endurance, agility and coordination to create well-rounded little athletes. ages 2-3; 4-5

Adventures in Music

Explore songs, song games, small instruments, creative movement, rhymes, parachute play and bubble time, while learning coordination, fine motor skills, taking turns, sharing and more! Spanish and French immersion music class coming Fall 2024!
ages 1-6

STEAM Adventures

Children will learn colors, numbers, letters, art skills, math, science, technology, early literacy and so much more. Our programs are designed around developmental milestones and include Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math in each lesson ages 3-5

Little Picasso

From clay and collage to paints and printmaking, students work on individual projects as well as group projects that will cover Artist masters, style and history. Student will be challenged to stretch their imaginations and gain a new perspective of the world around them. ages 2-5

Guitar

In Guitar 1, you’ll do lots of cool stuff! You will:

  • learn to tune your guitar by listening carefully
  • learn the names of musical notes
  • become really good at playing rhythms with your right hand
  • learn to keep a steady beat when you play by yourself or with friends.
  • discover what a musical scale is and how to play one and turn that scale into a chord
  • learn 5 different chords to play cool songs and when to switch chords in a song
  • learn to sing and play at the same time
  • By the end, you’ll be playing chords, melodies, and singing along with songs. And most importantly, you’ll start building a strong foundation in music and guitar that will stay with you forever!
  • Bring your own guitars to the first class!

  3. Select Half day AM or PM or just one day a week
    Children participate in 3 classes, 45 min each
    Max: 15-20 children per class
  4. Duration: 2 week session between
    Jun 17 – Aug 9; no camp July 4
  5. Pricing: 2 options
    • Flat Price per class
    • Per child
      requires a minimum of 10 children
  6. All inclusive: one instructor, travel time, teaching time, supplies and materials. Additional fees may apply, i.e. parking, curriculum box.
    *Optional: youth camp t-shirt $10
