Meet the Founder
Ms. Joy has over 20 years experience as a preschool music and movement teacher, violin teacher and data scientist. Her love of teaching started at age sixteen as a Suzuki violin instructor. Similar to Montessori, the Suzuki method uses violin as an educational tool to cultivate each child’s greatest potential as a human being.
She founded In School Arts in 2007 to introduce young children to STEM education early, in hopes they will develop an interest and choose a career in STEM. Joy works closely with ECE business owners nationwide helping them build enrollment, retain passionate staff, improve culture through marketing, social presence and engaging families with enrichment classes during the school year and summer camp.
